With the publication of AASL's Standards for the 21st Century Learner (2007) our instructional roles continue to evolve as information literacy standards have expanded to include multiple literacies. These new standards challenge us to prepare students to learn and work in an information-rich future.
Let's use this space to share ideas, lesson plans, multimedia presentations, resources.
Most of us are already familiar with Resources for School Librarians, but it's worth a reminder that the 'Learning and Teaching' section is a great starting place for instruction ideas.

This wiki was used for the UVM class "Designing Instruction for School Library Media Specialists" Spring 2009. There are a lot of links to resources and also lessons and unit plans. Note: the plans were created by students with a wide range of library experience.
